In May ‘24 I was lucky enough to be given the opportunity to help craft the production of the first comedy scripts shot on Great Northern for their ‘Winter Migration’ campaign.
The #1 selling beer brand had been invited to run the first alcohol advertising content (Zero SKU) to appear on TikTok in collaboration with the platform.
So, we decided to bring a streak of humor to the brand by documenting a flock of thirsty ‘Southerns’ Migrating North to Queensland in search of warmer weather, colder beer & turned Broden Kelly (of comedy trio Aunty Donna) into a ‘David Attenborough’ style narrator.
We engaged QLD Director, Tony Walsh & his Production Company, Stranger Films as local partners to create the motion + static assets to appear across YouTube pre-roll / OOH / TikTok & meta platforms.

I was also fortunate enough to be given the opportunity to produce “Storytellers”, a national, always on digital and social media series, for Australia’s #1 selling beer brand Great Northern (GNBC) in ‘22. The series features travel influencers exploring each state in Australia with their favourite Great Northern beer.
We engaged the likes of digital creators, Haz & Loz, Jack & Megan, Salty Lap and many more to capture scenic, adventurous RAW footage to be edited in-house by the 1House studio team.

As demand for Great Northern and the series grew - we expanded from one video in each state, to an additional run of 4x videos into each state (20x videos in total). So too, eventually into a new TV commercial to support the Brand’s partnership with camping supply retailer, BCF in ‘23.
I arranged a new run of shoots to form new national, and Queensland based TV commercials. The new TVCs were launched within a $900k IMC campaign spanning TV, point-of-sale, digital and social in Easter ‘23 & appeared again across ABTL the following year in Easter ‘24.

We also expanded the project to support key retail partners, Dan Murphy’s & BWS - by teaming up with Influencers in WA and TAS to capture aspiration travel content for in-store & on-pack promotions.
We partnered with Dylan Alcock (not to be confused with Alcott) and Hamish Lockett to capture content in far reaching corners of Australia, including Rottnest Island & Central Plateau, Tasmania.
