Pepsi - “Ch. Slp. Ah.” // Outdoor mock - audio inspired creative execution

chk. slp. ah.

When you sell a drink as renowned as Pepsi... you’re not selling a product. You’re selling a thirst quencher. You don’t need to tell someone to buy, you don’t need to tell them what it is. They already know where to get it and how much it costs. You just need to remind them… when they’re thirsty… Pepsi will be there. What better way to make an instant, non-verbal connection with the general population than with the power of audio.

The simple idea that a tagline and a call-to-action can be something as simple as a familiar sound that you might hear on a Saturday night at the pub, at a family bbq, at Friday drinks after work, on the beach on a 30 degree day. A sound that say’s ‘I’m refreshed’. Chk. Slp. Ah.

I propose Pepsi creates a sample pack of the three sound bites of ‘Chk. Slp. Ah’ and partners with Spotify Australia and Support Act to host a ‘remix competition’ inviting Australian DJs to create a song or remix with the sound FX pack. The best song would become the soundtrack for the new ‘Chk. Slp. Ah’ TVC. The musician would be supported by a music licensing fee and bring attention to Australian artists. Please see a mock-up beside.

Drumstick Zero - Zero sugar. Zero dairy. Big Flavour. //

The new product innovation idea:

A fresh healthier, take on a classic ice cream. Same taste, no sugar and completely dairy free.
Perfect for Melbourne-ites, home to lovers of niche milk alternatives.

The campaign idea:

Commission the creation of a huge ice cream shaped zeppelin,
fly it around Melbourne CBD, capture photography content for design assets.

Video people enjoying free ice cream testers, being handed out in the city on a hot sunny summer’s day,
looking up and smiling with joy at the sight above. Include lots of sun-flares and blue skies.
